Louisiana's State Tests at a Glance
In grades 3 through 8, LEAP 2025 covers English language arts, math, science and social studies every year. The tests are given on the computer, and grade 3 also has a paper option. Math can be taken in English or Spanish, and braille forms are available. Every test is timed and split into sessions that are taken in order, and extra time is given only to students with a documented extended time accommodation. Testing takes place in the spring.
