Ohio's State Tests at a Glance

In grades 3 through 8, Ohio's State Tests cover English language arts and math every year, plus science in grades 5 and 8. Every test is given online in two parts, and paper tests are used only in specific situations. Schools may give both parts on one day or on two separate days, and testing happens each spring, with each district choosing 15 consecutive school days inside the state's window.
